I have seen over the years the city building up around St Paul’s. But St Paul’s always stands out like a beacon of hope.  Domes are more than an architectural phenomenon but symbols of religious belief.  Their circular shape represents eternity and the apex which is often the highest point of the building point to the heavens. It draws me in like a magnet and my eye is always drawn to it. The Thames changes colours and at times it looks rather Venetian, in this instance with the soft blues and greens and yellows
